Welcoming Sam, Our New Account Manager

This week Liquorice has welcomed a new Account Manager, Sam Crow, into our team. We thought you might be interested in getting a little taste of the latest Liquorice team member, so we asked Sam a few questions….

When you were little what did you want to be when you grew up?

A Jedi – I was given a VHS copy of Star Wars Episode IV for Christmas at the age of four or five and have been a massive fan ever since. I think in hindsight I grew up to have a good taste in films but a severe lack of the force!

Share an interesting fact about yourself…

I’m a very active person. I love running and will be aiming to complete the Cheltenham half marathon again this year. I’ve also been kickboxing for about six months and absolutely love it!

What was the naughtiest thing you did as a child?

I definitely thought it would be really cool to paint band names on my wall when I was in my early teens. My spray-painting skills left a lot to be desired and my parents were less than happy with my work! I had to spend the whole weekend repainting my room and decided that posters were probably a safer bet in the future.

What’s the best decision you ever made?

I recently made the decision to move in with my Brother, I guess time will tell if it’s the best decision but I can’t think of a better flat mate!

What’s your favourite film?

That is probably, John Carpenter’s ‘Big Trouble in Little China’. It oozes with cult classic cool, doesn’t take itself too seriously and has a great 80’s synth soundtrack. I would feel bad if I didn’t mention that Pulp Fiction is a very close second!

What’s your favourite joke?

What’s better than a joke about puns?! So, a man wanted to enter his local newspaper’s pun writing contest. He entered tens puns hoping it would increase his odds of winning, unfortunately… no pun in ten did. (I’ll let myself out)

Who inspires you most?

I think that would have to be my Dad, he’s the hardest working person I know and I’ve always tried to follow his lead in that respect. His love of music and eclectic tastes also have a lot to account for in my own passion for music!
