When CEMEX wanted a solid concept to help launch their new product – Porofoam – they approached Liquorice. As the one of the world’s foremost suppliers of concrete, cement and aggregates, CEMEX has dozens of market leading products. The creative idea to promote Porofoam, a lightweight foamed concrete used to fill voids, needed to stand out in a competitive market.
CEMEX tasked Liquorice to design both a commercial brochure and a promotional campaign. The Porofoam brochure builds on the CEMEX brand style and introduces a fresh, modern design that takes inspiration from the product itself.
In addition, Liquorice developed an advertising program which can be applied across multiple marketing and advertising streams. Drawing on the void filling qualities of the product, the concept centered around voids of an epic proportion. This included a titanic sized hole, a mammoth trench and a monster void! This will be used in everything from promotional items to advertising and social media.
