Mevalia launched in the UK in 2013, providing a range of tasty and safe to eat food for those suffering with Phenylketonuria (PKU). Developed initially at a global level, Liquorice were engaged by brand owner Dr Schär to adapt and develop the communications for the UK market and create an impactful brand statement of “Taste – Our Secret Ingredient” highlighting the benefit of the product portfolio compared to that of the existing brands in the market. A Welcome Hamper was designed and developed to help attract those with PKU and to showcase the food. The box contains a set of useful content including recipes and information, all with the aim of converting the recipient to Mevalia, and maintaining their protein diet. Liquorice handled the complete project, including all pack-shot photography using our in-house studio and literature production through our in-house production management service.
